After the postponement of Day 2 due to dangerous weather conditions, Day 2 has finally begun. The tournament will carry on as normal from this point forward, only the days of the week will change. The full field is fishing today, it will be cut to the Top 50 for tomorrow. And then the Top 10 will fish on Championship Monday.
The first images are coming in from the water on Bassmaster LIVE, and it is still a little bumpy. Clouds, wind, and rain are lingering from the storm system that howled through the area yesterday. The high for today is predicted to stay under 70 degrees. The wind will blow roughly 10 mph sustained from now til weigh in.
Side note, some fantastic commentary over on LIVE Mix. Several of the wives of Bassmaster Elite Series anglers are scheduled to come on the show today, which is typically hosted by Elite anglers that didn’t make it to Saturday. Since all the anglers are still on the water, we went with the wives for the show.
