Hooks for Hope tournament provides life-saving care in Haiti

Hooks for Hope raises awareness and support for children, families, and communities at large in Haiti.

Hooks for Hope is hosting their annual charity exhibition tournament on October 20th that benefits Children’s Hope. Children’s Hope is a ministry program that provides support for children and families in Haiti. Children’s Hope owns an orphanage and medical clinic in Haiti; they provide vital needs for children and families in three cities in Haiti.  Children’s Hope also sponsors three schools in Haiti; they provide teachers, uniforms, books, and daily meals for over 600 students.

Hooks for Hope is an exhibition tournament featuring the University of Alabama fishing team and the Auburn University fishing team. The tournament will be held at Legacy Lakes in Pintlala, AL and will raise funds for their ministry in Haiti. Legacy Lakes were originally developed by B.A.S.S. founder, Ray Scott and is now one of the premier private bass fishing properties in the United States.

The event features different sponsorship levels where sponsors can sit in the boat with Auburn or Alabama fishing team members during the tournament. Contributions will give your team a 5 pound advantage in the tournament and provide food, medical care and education for children and families in Haiti. Last year, Hooks for Hope raised over $80,000 for their ministry with goals to raise even more this year.
