What a weigh-in it was for the final day of the Mercury B.A.S.S. Nation at Mississippi River presented by Lowrance! A tie for the win called for a sudden-death fish-off of Tom Monsoor and Justin Yenter! This was the first-ever fish-off in a B.A.S.S. Nation event, and what an exciting ending to a great event!
Tom Monsoor wins at the Mississippi River with 54 pounds even after the first-ever B.A.S.S. Nation fish off! Three days of fishing were not enough to separate Tom Monsoor and Justin Yenter, requiring a sudden-death fish-off to break the tie! After about 30 minutes into the fish-off, Monsoor landed a 16-inch largemouth to take the win at the Mercury B.A.S.S. Nation at Mississippi River presented by Lowrance!
