Whitaker starting AOY strong

Jake Whitaker, fresh off his impressive third-place finish at Chickamauga, came into the season finale with a solid chance to win the Bassmaster Angler of the Year title. He began in fourth place, 29 points behind leader David Mullins.

And Whitaker is off to a solid start today. He caught his biggest bass of the day, a 4-10, at 10:35, giving him a limit weighing 12-14.
