It’s that time of day when folks are scattering. Greg DiPalma has moved on. And Chris Johnston has followed suit.
DiPalma moved down river while Johnston battened down the equipment and made a beeline for Lake Ontario.
Like yesterday, Pirch is left by himself. It’s been nice this morning but I’m sure he’s glad to see folks moving away. They took half the spectators as well.
Pirch will likely stick on this place like glue. He did that yesterday and produced an almost 25-pound stringer.
What will be interesting to see is if he changes up his offerings while all the eyeballs have left. And if he does change how well it works.
These guys have spent the morning drifting a drop shot along a river edge. Most are baits so small (as in finesse) it’s hard to make out what they have tied on.
It will likely stay that way. But with prying eyes on the same drift, it would be interesting to find out if there are secret changes on the way.
If Clifford Pirch pulls out any secrets we will have to see it on Bassmaster LIVE or on ESPN2.
He just landed a big walleye so things are still biting. We will check in on him later. We decided to head in and get these photos on the site. Find another target if we can.
