Takahiro Omori caught his first two fish of the day on a topwater bait. He set that rod down for a few minutes after a brief lull, but just picked it back up and added another 4-plus-pounder, according to photographer Seigo Saito. Omori’s got 12-12 now, according to BASSTrakk.
Jason Williamson has made it a trio fishing in this area not far from the takeoff site, joining Omori and Randy Howell. But they are strung out over several hundred yards.
