Gerald Swindle has only 3 keepers in the boat but he’s sniffling his way to buildihg confidence. Swindle has a cold. His knees ache, in fact, he plans to have surgery to repair those after the season ends.
He’s digging deep to find his self-promoting Postive Mental Attitude (PMA).
“That was a confidence builder,” he said of the three-pounder that just came aboard.
“I spent about three hours yesterday afternoon dialing into this deal,” he said of the pattern.
Swindle is focusing in a protected southwest corner of the lake where he can finesse fish his rig.
“It’s the fastest way to a limit and you can cover so much more water, effectively,” he added.
Seigning the bottom for bites will be an ongoing key for Swindle, as he tries for his second Toyota Bassmaster Angler of the Year title.
