Bassmaster Rookie of the Year points leader, Josh Stracner is fixing extremely slow early on Day 2 of the Guaranteed Rate Bassmaster Elite at Pickwick Lake.
The Alabama native just boated his first keeper of the morning just moments ago. Stracner is fishing a small pocket just off the main river, just below Seven Mile Island. Utilizing a Texas rig and a jig, Stracner is methodically picking apart flooded reeds and isolated wood.
The higher the sun gets, the more these fish should push up into the cover, making it easier for Stracner to target them.
