After boating three small keepers inside the pocket Stracner has been in all morning, he decided to fish a stretch of the main river bank and immediately boated his two best fish and filled out his limit.
“I never really fished the main river yesterday,” said Stracner. “They might be out here today.”
Although Stracner’s limit is only worth around 11 pounds, having a limit is huge at this point in the morning.
Stracner mentioned that he didn’t even start flipping yesterday until mid-morning, so he’s ahead of schedule on Day 2.
