We found Kyle Welcher in the back of a pocket, doing a combination of winding and looking. The big bet here was that by the end of the weekend the warming temperatures would have that same impact on the water, and spur a massive rush of fish to the bank.
The first part of that equation has not really happened. The water in here is 58 degrees, the same as it was on Wednesday. Bass may still be looking to breed, but it’s not happening as quickly as expected.
