Jordan Lee’s early 22-pounds-plus limit this morning indicates it may be the best day yet for catching bass on Lake St. Clair. And yesterday was better than the day before.
The first day of this four-day Elite Series event began with a bang – 15 bags weighed 20 pounds or better, led by Bradley Roy’s 23-3. Then Day 2 blew away those numbers – 30 bags of 20 pounds or more, led by Brock Mosley’s 25-8.
There was a new big bass leader on Day 2 as well. Brandon Palaniuk’s 6-8 on Thursday was topped by Shane Lineberger’s 6-10 yesterday.
The average weight of all the bass weighed-in jumped up as well, from 3.44 pounds on Day 1 to 3.68 pounds on Day 2.
