We had the smart idea this morning to trailer to a ramp in hopes of not dealing with a bunch of spectator boats.
It didn’t work. Right where we launched set Iaconelli and he has about two dozen boats on his tail as he moves quickly through the area.
He’s not caught anything at least in the last few minutes we’ve watched. But it looks like he’s bent on covering a lot of ground in the early moments.
It’s also apparent that a lot of folks want to see if he repeats his strong start from a few years ago when he and Cliff Pace led after Day 1.
