The spectator numbers have grown over the last hour. We started with about a half dozen. In the last hour we’ve doubled in size.
That may not sound like much in terms of some of other stops. But on-the-water spectators in this part of the world have never been huge. Not there yet. But after covering several winners on this river, this is about as many as I’ve seen. Certainly only on Day 2. No worries, though, we are all social distancing.
