Snowden about done

We jumped down the river and found Brian Snowden. As we pulled up, he set the hook. The fish went skyward. After a fairly short battle, Snowden landed the fish. “Five pounds!” he replied after I asked the weight. “That makes four 5-pounders and a 4. One more 5-pounder and I’m done for the day!” Indeed, 25 pounds would have him sitting pretty. That said, 27-pound-plus limits have been weighed on Elite Series scales here just last year. He is all alone on this spot, though, and likely wants to save the school for tomorrow. Nothing like having 25 pounds in the boat with five hours remaining in the competition day.
