Settling in up the Cooper River

As things start to settle in up the Cooper River, we are stopping and watching a few of the guys.

Currently the only fish we’ve seen caught is one by Paul Elias. It wasn’t huge but obvious very important. The fish likely was under 2-pounds, but Elias’ demeanor made us think it was a big one.

In this event every keeper is big. There’s no time to lose one when you get it on. And you can bet by the end of tomorrow there will be several guys needing a bite that size to get into the 50-man cut.
