Santee vegatation

There are so many different varieties of vegetation across the country when it comes to our waterways. Last week at Guntersville we had eelgrass, hydrilla, milfoil and lily pads.

This week, we are at Santee Cooper and have a different variety of vegetation. Here, we’ve got duckweed, hyacinth, and pads.  According to my boat driver and local fishing guide, Bo Chappell, hydrilla was a prominent resident; but after DNR sprayed, it has been hard to find.
