After a foggy morning of floating around looking for fish on his graph, Fred Roumbanis has caught the all-important first fish.
It checked in at 13 ounces. Not much but a start. Roumbanis area is in the back of a creek. And after an almost full-moon night he worried the fish would not be ready to bite until later in the day.
His worries are founded. Any fish at this moment is a bonus. Yesterday he didn’t catch them until mid-morning. He will get a piece of that mid morning today. Then have to sit on the sidelines. So any positive weight is good considering the short day.
