Rojas with an 8-pounder

Dean Rojas has caught the first of what’s expected to be many “difference-makers” in this tournament. According to the BASSTrakk Twitter feed, Rojas landed an eight-pounder at 6:52 a.m., one minute after catching a 1 1/2-pounder. Four- and five-pounders will be the meat and potatoes at Toledo Bend – the fish that will put you in contention. It’s those eight-pounders and up that will be the difference-makers.
