One thing Clunn has in his favor at the moment is the rising tide.
He’s fishing the skinny water behind an eel grass ridge. As the tide starts to come up, those fish tend to move with it.
They don’t like sitting that exposed with all the birds in Florida. So they move to their beds or around them when the water rises.
That kind of plays into Clunn’s hands at the moment. The tide will just go higher as the day progresses. And if the wind starts to blow out of the West as predicted it could make it even better.
Those conditions will work against some of the others.
