Twenty-two-year-old Jay Przekurat is having one heck of a rookie season. He’s now 4-for-4 in making top 47/Day 2 cuts on the Elite Series. And we’re still a long way from his home waters in Wisconsin, where the 2022 season will conclude. Przekurat (pronounced “shuh-kur-at”) rallied from 77th place on Day 1 with 19-6 on Day 2 to finish well inside the cut in 34th place. He’s got only two bass totaling 4 pounds today. However, Przekurat will be ranked somewhere near the top 10 when the Angler of the Year standings are complete at the conclusion of this tournament.
