Plenty of risers and sinkers in standings

As everyone knew, consistency was going to be a challenge today at Chesapeake Bay. At 2 p.m., the BASSTrakk leaderboard illustrate the point. There are several anglers who have rebounded from a bad day, and just about as many who are having a bad day after a solid opener.

Among the high-risers are Scott Rook, who was 62nd with 2 bass weighing 5-12 on Day 1. He's got 14-7 today, which puts him in 17th place. Todd Faircloth is making a similar surge, it appears. And David Walker could be on the verge of making the Top 50 cut after starting the day in 93rd place. He had a single bass weighing 1-13 on Day 1.

Jacob Powroznik headlines the group struggling today. There are some others it appears, but they may be having BASSTrakk problems, so we won't speculate. As always, the weigh-in will tell the tale, and it starts in about an hour.
