“Time to start culling,” Palaniuk said. “That’s the best start we’ve had so far.”
Palaniuk has been moving around several offshore areas looking to find active bass. He has been rotating between several baits and studying his electronics as well. He has fished this spot both days but hasn’t caught a bass on it until today. His daily total is up to 23-4 unofficially and he leads the tournament with 72-3. His smallest bass currently is a 3-12.
