Toyota Angler of the Year leader Brandon Palaniuk just put his third and fourth keepers into the livewell. These smallmouth were approximately 2 and 3 pounders. That gives him at least 12 pounds so far today with plenty of fishing time left.
There’s a steady wind here at Lake St. Clair, with two to three foot swells. Palaniuk’s boat is bouncing around just like we are. He’s steadying himself against his seat, and seems to be handling the motion with no problem.
