South Carolina native Britt Myers arrived at his spot on the Cooper River at about 8:30 and caught his first bass less than five minutes later. We’re estimating it to be in the pound and a half range. Maybe a little better.
Myers talked to us about his game plan, where he expects to fish, and the areas we need to stay away from. There are three spectator boats watching Myers this morning too. Meyers asked for our assistance in keeping them off his spots. He was friendly and upbeat about it all. Managing the spectators and media boats is an important skill most Elites learn quickly.
