Mullet jumping, birds flying

For the first time today, the wildlife has become active in Britt Hite’s area of the Cooper River, according to photographer James Overstreet. It might be the signal of a bass feeding frenzy.

“Everything is moving all of the sudden,” Overstreet reports. “The mullet are jumping, birds are flying. There’s two bald eagles right now. I haven’t seen them all day.”
