Mueller doesn’t waste time

Well, that didn’t take long. Within 10 minutes after setting down at

his first hole, Paul Mueller tightened up on a nice spotted bass. The

fish finally came to the boat and he lipped it in.

The spotted bass looked to be about 2 pounds from where we sit. On the

very next cast, he stuck another good spot, and brought it to the

boat. This one is about 2, as well, and Mueller said he hopes to call

it through the day.

It’s hard to guess the weights of the spotted bass because they can be

 gorged on herring.
