Well, that didn’t take long. Within 10 minutes after setting down at
his first hole, Paul Mueller tightened up on a nice spotted bass. The
fish finally came to the boat and he lipped it in.
The spotted bass looked to be about 2 pounds from where we sit. On the
very next cast, he stuck another good spot, and brought it to the
boat. This one is about 2, as well, and Mueller said he hopes to call
it through the day.
It’s hard to guess the weights of the spotted bass because they can be
gorged on herring.
