Brock Mosley made a short move and isn’t too far (500 yards) from Jordan Lee. When he pulled up to this spot, Lee was actually fighting with his second keeper of the day. We understand through the blog and BassTrakk that he had a 6-pounder. From our vantage point the second was a hefty one as well.
Mosley on the other hand has yet to hook up with a smallmouth. He’s had bites and a couple of short battles but they’ve been walleye instead of smallmouth.
The nomadic nature of these fish may be playing away from Brock and to Jordan. At least for the moment. That could change at any moment. And there’s a lot of day left.
But at the moment, Mosley is leading the walleye division of this derby.
