Ish Monroe is starting to make some noise on what has been a relatively quiet morning for the Classic Bracket semifinalists. Monroe doesn’t have anything big, but he’s got four bass on his scorecard totaling 6 pounds, 7 ounces.
The last two – a 1-12 and a 1-10 – came while flipping a 3/4-ounce black Missile Baits Ike’s Flip Out Jig trailed with a black Missile Baits D Bomb.
“I’m going to catch five and go fish for a big one,” Monroe said. “That’s the only way I’ve caught a big one all week.”
