Scott Martin has started his morning right at take-off, and already has a limit for roughly 16 pounds. The Floridian has been focusing on a few isolated trees that create a seam in the current.
Martin is not the only Elite Series pro that opted to stay close to take-off early on Day 1. I’ve noticed around 10 boats that have stayed relatively close to McFarland Park.
The water conditions are much different than what anglers were faced within three days of practice, so it seems as if the high percentage move is to stay close and maximize fishing time in a historically good area.
