Lester: “It’s going to get nasty!”

After Day 1, which had very little wind or current flow, there was lots of talk about how tough those conditions make Lake Guntersville – and most other lakes, for that matter. But especially with all the aquatic vegetation here, the fish just scatter out randomly in the grass, so there are few distinct targets.

There’s wind and current today, and the targets are plentiful. Brandon Lester has been able to start catching fish on a crankbait, which wasn’t a player yesterday.

“If I can get them to bite that crankbait, it’s going to get nasty,” Lester noted on “Bassmaster LIVE.”
