Lefebre swinging for the fence (this time)

It’s great to see Dave Lefebre’s name near the top of the BASSTrakk score board. At the last event on Wheeler Lake he finished second to Takahiro Omori.

When I interviewed Lefebre about his second place finish he lamented about fishing too conservatively. For someone whose been at this game for 14 years and counting that’s not a lame mistake. Lefebre is one of the best and he just miscalculated the potential of his area on Wheeler.

Different game here on Toledo Bend. Lefebre will obviously apply a different strategy here, leaving nothing behind for the next day. On this lake, this week, it’ll take fishing for the win with every cast to stay in the game.
