This 4-pound class fish came in with another 4-pounds of grass wrapped around it.
That makes his second keeper. He’s had four bites and has been able to get two of them in the boat amid the tangle of vegetation all around the lake.
That’s just an added factor for these competitors. Hooking a bass and getting him to the boat in open water is an adventure sometimes. Add a bunch of salad and everything gets ramped up.
