With so much fishable water in the various rivers that converge in Winyah Bay, plus the long run down to the Cooper River in Charleston Bay, there will be long periods before some anglers record a fish catch today.
But it didn’t take Steve Kennedy long this morning. Despite being boat No. 56 in a 7 a.m. takeoff, Kennedy landed the first keeper of the day – a 1-pounder – at 7:27.
