Cory Johnston was already having a much better tournament than his brother, Chris. Cory finished 8th and Chris was 73rd after Day 1 at Santee Cooper. Then came Day 2. Chris Johnston’s boat was hit by another vehicle while he was on his way to the launch this morning. We’ll have more on this later, but it’s an ugly, ugly way to start a tournament day.
Meanwhile, Cory is catching ’em. He’s got three fish weighing 8-8, according to BASSTrakk, and has moved up to third place today.
