Bassmaster Marshal Steve Lockwood reports that Carl Jocumsen recently boated a 6-pound, 3-ounce kicker — perhaps his reward for a good deed.
“Carl scooped up three baby birds from out of the water and put them back in the tree from which they fell,” Lockwood said. “Don’t know how many guys would have done that but Carl took time out tournament fishing this morning on Lake Fork.
“Awesome guy, and now back to work.”
Jocumsen’s mantra is “Fear my heart.” Clearly, that big heart works both ways.
