Carl Jocumsen is showing what’s possible at Santee Cooper this week. There was only one 19-pound bag weighed-in at Lake Guntersville last week. But just after the 10 o’clock hour this morning, Jocumsen landed a 7-pounder that gave him an estimated 19 pounds on BASSTrakk. And that’s on only four bass. Jocumsen’s other three are 5-0, 4-0 and 3-0.
On “Bassmaster LIVE” Davy Hite was asked to estimate how many 20-pound bags would be caught at Santee Cooper this week. He guessed four. That gives you an idea of how important it would be for Jocumsen to top 20 pounds today, with most of the work getting done by 10 a.m.
