Harvey’s light bulb

Our timing today has been impeccable. For the fourth time this afternoon, an angler sets the hook on a bass as we pull up to photograph him. It is Harvey Horne, and he is ecstatic. He has already landed a smallmouth over 6 pounds today and the one he set the hook on ends up weighing in the 4-pound range. “It has been a day, boys!!!” he shouts. “A freakin’ light bulb went off. This deal here is like trout fishing on the White River back home. Once I realized that today has been lights out! I have the biggest limit I’ve ever caught in an Elite event swimming in my livewell right now and I still have a couple of hours to fish. Whooooooo!” To say Horne is jacked up right now is an understatement … and for good reason.
