Hackney is pitching a Strike King Rage Bug into yellow flowering plants that are growing in abundance along the bank in this area. “You see these same yellow plants at Kentucky Lake and Barkley,” said Hackney. Of course Kentucky Lake is another Tennessee River reservoir, and Lake Barkley, right next to it, is an impoundment of the Cumberland River. Both are places Hackney has fished many times.
