Guntersville forecast update

SUNDAY
Skies will be partly cloudy throughout the fishing day with a very small chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm. Temperatures will start off in the lower 70s at launch and warm up to around 90 degrees for the afternoon high. Heat index values will be around 5-7 degrees warmer than the actual temperature, in the 95-97 degree range. Winds will be out of the southwest at 2-6 MPH. Dewpoints will be in the lower 70s during the day. Chance of rain is around 25%.

MONDAY
A surface front will be trying to move into North Alabama which will bring an elevated chance of showers and thunderstorms during the late morning through the afternoon and early evening hours. Skies will start off mostly clear at launch with temperatures in the lower 70s, but clouds will build throughout the day and will be mostly cloudy by the afternoon. With the cloud cover and potential rain, the afternoon high will be held back into the upper 80s. Winds will be out of the southwest at 3-10 MPH and dewpoints will be in the lower 70s. Chance of rain starts off around 20% during the morning but quickly ramps up to around 60% by 11:00 am.
