And for today anyway, it was – a 5-pound, 15-ounce bass – his biggest of the day – at 2:36 p.m. Palaniuk was so excited that he forgot to put the 21-inch-plus fish in his livewell.
“I feel like an idiot now,” he said.
Well, maybe for just a moment. He’s a very happy idiot right now.
