Good Morning from a foggy, chilly and breezy Santee Cooper Chain of Lakes. Riding with former Forrest Wood Cup Champion, Justin Atkins, today and the Elite Series Pro is working through an area he found in practice.
“I got just enough bites to give me some hope,” said the Falcon Boats Pro.
Atkins began the morning with a jerkbait presentation around some brush piles he marked in practice and followed up with a small jig. He’s also working some cypress trees with a wacky worm.
Post front conditions today may present a “survival day” kind of plan for the anglers with the weather conditions improving as the tournament progresses.
