They were caught on back-to-back casts by Brett Hite.
He already had a limit and culled up twice. The first one moved him up to about 11 pounds. The second, the larger of the two, might have pushed him well past 12 pounds.
Those numbers seem low compared to many of the Elite events. But in this one 12 to 13 pounds probably has Hite feeling like the ride back home won’t be as bumpy as it was on the way over.
