Boyd Duckett, who caught a reported 13-pounder in practice, caught only three bass yesterday that totaled about one-third of that big one. He had five pounds on Day 1, which left him in 104th place.
But Duckett is rising from the ashes today, apparently. There’s some question about exactly how much weight Duckett does have today, as a 5-pounder at 1:19 on BASSTrakk appears to be a double entry that puts him over 30 pounds. But even if that is a mistake, Duckett appears to have caught over 20 pounds today, which beats the heck out of five pounds yesterday.
