Does everyone have a chance?

Patrick Walters (31 - 12)

Usually only a handful of anglers have a realistic chance of winning the Bassmaster Classic on the final day. But the setting at Lake Hartwell today has the potential to be the exception. Jordan Lee was in 6th place, 6 pounds, 8 ounces, out of first place when he won the 2018 Classic here. Today only seven pounds separates the 25 anglers who qualified to fish the final day of the 2022 Classic at Lake Hartwell.

Patrick Walters starts in 10th place, 4 pounds, 11 ounces, behind leader Jason Christie. He broke down today’s scenario quite simply, saying, “Twenty-five people are going fishing. One person is going to win the Bassmaster Classic. Whoever catches the big bag (today) wins.”
