There were hopeful predictions that Lake Fork was on the verge of “popping” out of its fall transition funk this week. Greg DiPalma has posted an early indication it’s true. DiPalma had a five-bass limit weighing 17-8 by 7:24 this morning.
Remember, in this Texas Fest format, each fish is officially weighed and recorded by a marshal before it is released. So BASSTrakk is not subject to the estimates of each angler. DiPalma’s big bass is a 4-6. And Shane Lineberger has already landed a 7-5.
