There are a lot of things different this morning. Ken Golub and I have decided to head North to cover some of the river guys, get a feel for what’s going on while hitting a few boats and faces we’ve not seen this week.
It’s our longest boat drive yet at about 40 miles. With temperatures hanging around 58 degrees this morning, it was rather cold. In some ways it was a welcome feeling — that I quickly got over.
Hailing from the South it didn’t take me long to build a shiver — 60 miles an hour at 58 degrees has a way of doing that. Then we get up here and and folks are water skiing.
Nothing like that to make you feel like you are definitely in another world.
