This is John Crews’ 12th Bassmaster Classic, the most of any angler in this year’s 50th anniversary event. He’s off to a hot start. His first fish was a 4-pounder and Crews put a 15-pound, 12-ounce limit in the boat by 8:09.
“I’ve got a couple of other deals I’m looking forward to fishing,” Crews said on Bassmaster LIVE. “But it’s great to get off to a good start.”
