John Cox is fishing a little bayou below the Rodman dam, according to photographer Andy Crawford, who is following Cox today. He hadn’t caught a fish as of 9 a.m. However he just saw a ‘big one” but it didn’t stay on the bed when he passed it.
“I’m having to pass them and see if they stay,“ he said. “I want to go back to that 10-pounder so bad, but I’m afraid I’ll get sucked into it for three or four hours.“
Cox said he actually missed that 10-pounder twice yesterday. “I ended up having to catch the buck because I was running out of time. (The female) just moved down the bank to another bed.”
