Competition from weekend anglers

We just rolled into a popular creek on Grand Lake, in search of Bill Lowen. On our way in here we say three weekend anglers fishing boat docks. Yesterday we saw very little of that.

It’s a beautiful spring day in March on Grand Lake. Whether there’s a Classic happening or not, folks are going to be out fishing. That means more competition for the competitors. I don’t have a problem with that. For many average guys this may be the only day they have time to fish. Should they move out of the way for a Classic angler? Well, many would respectfully do so, but they have as much right to the lake as a guy who’s competing for the big prize.
