Clunn has been sticking with one area all morning. And for the first time, he’s picked up and moved about a 1/2 mile down the bank.
The inside of the grass isn’t as evident here but the pods and pieces of grass close to the bank can be seen.
But the best part, because the grass line isn’t here, the shallow area is getting more wind. That may turn out to be a critical piece of his success here today.
No sooner did we settle in and Clunn hooks up.
The fish hit right at the boat and came unbuttoned. Doubt it was big since Clunn was going to boat flip him.
But the positive side is things could start working with clouds and wind. There is a big cloud bank moving across the lake and that will help regardless on these shallow water bass.
